It all started...

In 2012, a couple of naturopathic medical students decided to pursue nature cure oriented medicines in clinical and daily practice.  These students, Hunter Peterson and Node Smith, created the ReVitalization Retreat to provide an opportunity for people to experience and incorporate health and well-being through nature cures. 

Every year, naturopathic medical students at the National University of Natural Medicine organize the retreat, create the atmosphere, and inspire others through their leadership.  The year 2017 will mark the 6th annual retreat, see below for more information!



Event Details

What?

The retreat is a multiple day camping retreat held at The Eclectic Institute Farm in Sandy, Oregon.  It is a nature cure oriented retreat.  It is a place to experience the beauty of the our planet through interactive workshops, fireside discussions, hydrotherapies, herbal walks and meditations, Tipi discussion groups and philosophy talks, and simple and delicious meals to awaken your vitality.

You'll participate in activities, workshops, and discussions in an intimate and supportive multi-generational event.  You will have time to relax in a wood fired cedar hot tub, or lay on the dew soaked grass wrapped in a wool blanket.  You will be able to learn and grow along side peers and mentors in a creative exchange of knowledge, wisdom, and joy for life.  

 

Where?

The ReVitalization Retreat is held at the Eclectic Institute Farm.  It is a 160 acre farm in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.  The land has a beautiful view overlooking the Sandy River and offers open fields, farmland, and forested areas. The Sandy River can be enjoyed first-hand by taking a short hike through the woods.
